Picked this up the other day for a grand (they're goin on ebay for £2,000 - £2,500 currently).......

It's a 1997 Land Rover Discovery 3.9 V8, running on LPG and petrol. It gives the equivalent of 45mpg when running on lpg.....

She needs head gaskets doing, I'm getting them done next week, whacking some new running boards on her, and a new set of front brakes. Should get all that for around £300. She's lovely inside, not a mark on the seats or headliner, she drives lovely, and sounds awesome.... can't wait to feel the full power once the head gaskets are done...

What a bargain eh?

best part is it's not the crappy lpg system with the little tank, this mofo's got twin tanks, totalling just over 100 litres...

it only does 22mpg on petrol, but as the lpg is half the price of petrol, I just double the mpg and imagine I'm paying the same....
