At the same time, the American craft scene keeps getting better as ambitious brewmasters pioneer new methods and styles. So for our beer survey, we asked craft-brew luminaries a simple question: What's the best beer in the world? Then we tried them all. The result? A been-there, drank-that guide to the greatest brews on the planet, in no particular order. Enjoy.

I have tried beers from only three of these brewers (

Paracelsus

Heck in my little redneck town most of the people don't know what most of those beers are. I should shop locally but I cannot do that if I want a real beer.

21st Amendment BIB is Awesome! and most anything I've tried of theirs is very good. I need to get out to San Fran, Monks Blood has won them some awards.
Two Maine brews made it in,,, Haven't tried Allagash, but Peaks is excellent.
Olympia?

Monks Blood is ok... but Duchesse De Bourgogne is far better. I do like their Back in Black IPA and Bitter American though.
