They showed up starting about fifteen minutes ago, sirens wailing and lights flashing. Plus all the usual support vehicles, plus a few ambulances and a helicopter overhead. From John St. down to Wall St, it's a flood of flashing lights. More are still arriving right now.

Broadway is blocked off to traffic from Dey Street down to battery Park. Some cross traffic is allowed, I can see that.

I can see what looks like fire alarm flashes on the thirtieth floor of the building south of Liberty Plaza, opposite Zucotti Park. There may be a legit fire alarm there.

Nothing much happening right now. I can see flashes that may be fire alarms on another four floors in that building.

I'm listening to a FDNY scanner (love the Android market) they are talking about smoke at 120 Broadway which would be the building opposite Zucotti Park.

The above photo is looking south on Broadway. The weird red thing is in the south east corner of Zucotti Park. 120 Broadway would be the building to the south of the open plaza area opposite Zucotti Park on the left of the photo.
