Potato patches in full bloom! I had small plants and no flowers last year (and just lots of tiny spuds), but this year they're going crazy.

I've got 4 different varieties, "almond potatoes" with white flowers, the other ones (asterix, juno and cerissa) all have pink/purple.

It's very rewarding Potatoes, carrots, onions.. doesn't take much work or space, and super easy to store well into spring in a cold cellar. Some chickens too, maybe?

Not sure what I own vertically but that may be do-able! . Don't like the idea of bird poop showers though.
