The Browser You Loved To Hate:
IE is still crap compared to any other browser, but if you like it, good for you
Define crap. I use IE when I am on windows and love it. It's faster than the others in my experience and one of the best versions yet to come from M$.
Keep in mind that I am no 'fanboi'. I am typing this from Iceweasel on Crunchbang (linux).
EDIT: Let me specify. IE9 is the browser to which I am referring. IE 8 and under sucked.
It's crap. IE9 may be faster and support more standards than the previous versions, but it does not even compare to the speed and support of the competition. Far more development has been done on the other browsers, due to the open source nature of them. IE9 still does not support all W3C web standards, and will still render some pages improperly because of it. With the new IE coming with Windows 8, it is only getting worse, as the interface is almost useless. When I use IE9, I always feel that I am using a clunky, unfinished beta software. Try a current version of Chrome or Firefox, and never look back.
I currently use Firefox (Iceweasel), Chrome or Chromium, and IE9 based on what operating system I am in and what my mood is. I've never had any issues with page rendering in IE. The only rendering issues I've ever had dealt with NoScript or NotScripts.
