I just read an article on ship sailing cruise today on pulse app for android...:

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2012/04/21/shipwrecked-italian-cruise-liner-costa-concordia-to-be-refloated-removed-intact/

Quote:
Shipwrecked Italian cruise liner Costa Concordia to be refloated, removed intact

GENOA, Italy -- The shipwrecked Italian cruise liner the Costa Concordia will be refloated and towed away in one piece by a US-owned salvage firm, the ship's owners announced Saturday.

This happened around January or April... the captain of the ship got on a rescue boat and sailed to land, leaving the passengers of the cruise on their own... Anyone posted this anywhere here on teoti??

@ Moody: Actuallt, the correct continuation of the quote is "Vivere non est necesse!", which backroom translated

@ Mohit: try this, or this, or this, or this, or maybe some more on teoti....

@my69pickup: Maybe the name "Procordia" would be more appropriate...

Hey I did view the first thread among those links... but since there wasn't any story or text about the sink, I probably didn't quite understand the whole thing... just read about it today in detail...

I think you've posted the quote before as well, and back then I just looked up the translation and thought "Ok, it's probably something boat people say to express their love for boating".
I looked it up again now though, and it's apparently what Roman commander Gnaeus Pompeius said to his servants after having ordered them to bring food from Africa to Rome during a severe storm

Great share, my69pickup. Couldn't watch the videos from where I am, but I could practically hear that delightful sound of gentle waves patting the hull. Summer beats winter every time.
