I so most definetly do not miss any part of city life. Too much noise, too many idiots, too much waiting in queues, not enough green, not enough fresh air, and nowhere near enough beach.....

I used to love sitting outside a pub, cold beer, watching the world go by. Your right about the air quality & idiots these days though, i'd much rather be where I am watching the waves roll in.

lol! I love the city, this I've realized as of late, yet I still love the feeling of a small town and the quality of air.

I live 20 kilometers from the capital of Buenos Aires

in a small town called Guernica.

I loved living in NYC, haven't been to a major city outside the US unless Dublin or Toronto count

Although its the armpit of Canada, it is our largest city, so I would think it counts.

I live is a city of 1 million, but I never go downtown, and actually work on the outside of town, so I see lots of green Geese were nesting around the parking lot of my work.

Are they.... Canadian geese? There's a returning flock of them just down the street here every summer, shitting (and they _shit_, like good-sized dogs) all over the place. Begone, I shout at them, go back to Flee, shit on his sidewalk. But they never listen.

I find that the enjoyment of living in a city is largely dependent on (almost inversely proportional to) the amount of time I have to spend commuting with public transportation. Apart from that, housing prices is my biggest grief, and it sucks not having just a small private place outside (for fixing/cleaning motorcycle, hanging the duvet out to shake it etc).
That being said, not having a pub/grocery store/coffee shop within 2 minute walking distance is almost unfathomable now. I would probably die from starvation or alcohol withdrawal within a week if I move away.

Buenos Aires looks nice though. But I was disappointed to see that Google Streetview hadn't been there yet!

Yes sir, they are. They build nests in the islands in the parking lot at my work. Then you walk to your car, and there are 3-4 male geese protecting the nest and they are pretty aggressive. Strong fuckers too.

But it is funny to see a goose chasing someone around the parking lot
