I wonder who Gove will stab first?

all of them.. if he thinks it will help him somehow..

Gove doesn't stand a chance of getting the leadership.. He's universally hated by everyone.. In fact - none of those shitstains above stand a chance either, which is why this whole thing is so gleefully glorious.. my money is on some nomark being promoted to get the position - which in turn is going to take the tories back decades to get over..

optimistic i know.. but im in a foul mood today..

one thing i learned the other day was - do you remember the last lot of tv debates where Rudd stepped in for May? Well, it turns out that Rudd's father passed away two days before that and because May didnt want to face Corbyn she made Rudd go in her place..

thats nice innit??

Can May be replace without stepping down or without a new election?

the only way she can get replaced is with a vote of no confidence which is what's now happening today.. if she loses that (tonight) then she will be gone because its her own party voting against her.. however, if she wins the vote of no confidence then she cant be touched for another year by her own party and remains in place..

im not so sure.. if she doesnt go tonight then LAB/SNP/DUP/LIB will file for a vote of no confidence in the government which will ultimately work out much worse for them.. even if it was just the DUP on their own (which it isn't) they still have the cards here (that was £1 billion well spent eh?) and they have publicly said that they do not want her in power because of the backstop and her shite deal.. the EU have said publicly that they wont remove the backstop from the deal either.. therefore its looking impossible for her to get this deal through parliament even if she does survive past midnight tonight.. its a catch 22.. and lets be honest everyone else and his dog realises/can see that she is only doing this for the good of her job and the tories.. which would be fine.. if they had the majority and weren't relying on the DUP to prop them up..

its long gone being about us now..

so even if she doesnt go tonight then she will be going.. its all about who pushes her now and when now..
