ARE YOU SUFFERING FROM TRUMP ACCEPTANCE RESISTANCE DISORDER (TARD)?

Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder is a pattern of pathologically dissociative and psychotic behavior, first observed in the late hours of November 8th 2016, and increasing in severity with passing time. Sufferers of Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder often exhibit pronounced cognitive dissonance, sudden bouts of rage, uncontrollable crying, suicidal ideation, and extreme sadness.

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS: People with Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder are characterized by a persistent unwillingness to accept that Donald Trump is going to Make America Great Again. Individual sufferers often display signs of paranoia and delusion; in acute cases psychotic episodes have been observed. Trump Acceptance Resistance Disorder is different from being upset about the results of the 2016 presidential election; People with TARD are unwilling or unable to accept reality, despite irrefutable evidence. According to the DSM-V, individuals with TARD exhibit most or all of the following symptoms:
- Protesting an election no credible source contests the outcome of
- Exclamations that “Someone” should do “Something”
- Acute change in demeanor from pompous and arrogant to fearful and combative
- Claim that anyone who disagrees with them is some combination of Racist, Sexist, Bigoted, Homophobic, and actually some sort of Hitler persona

personally I feel bad for those who fought the good fight and had their candidate lose. I felt the exact same way with Romney. (Not so much McCain as I just didn't want Obama then) But the ones who ascribe pathological disorders to those who don't agree with them, snowflakes that's all they are. Man/woman up regroup and fight the good fight with a better candidate. Biden would have won easily imo, Warren would have solidified the two bases that Hillary lost (Sanders followers and women)

I agree on some points, but you have to understand that the younger the crowd the more feelings are attached to this loss. These kids are being churned out to be big cry babies and they truly believe it is the end of the world. The rest of us just move on. Most of them would have no clue how to wake up each day in the midst of severe depression knowing that other people depend on them and all they want is to end it all. These kids were not taught to be strong and self reliant they were taught that hurt feepings were too important and should be given more importance than real issues. Blame the society who treated them like little victims not the kids themselves.

I understand, but that's when they need to be told that it isn't the end of the world, that there will be much worse things that they'll have to deal with. My niece called on Nov 9th crying (26 yrs old) and asked my wife what to do. My wife's advice:

Quote:
Get up, go to work, live your life like it was on Monday. Nothing has changed.

She's right, at least not yet. But regardless of who is president your life goes on. It might be more difficult depending on your financial situation, but either way there really isn't much of an alternative but to soldier on

I know that, and I am not making excuses for weak minded individuals, but these kids who are seeking help have other underlying issues if they are thinking suicide. People who contemplate suicide have done so for some time, they don't just wake up one day and boom. Others are doing it for attention because ME, ME, ME, but those who are LGBTQ have been told they will be killed, sent back to the closet, rights taken away. I mean my "super intelligent" hispanic friends believe they would be deported, they are citizens, because of the media fear-mongering. I have had to deal with depression ever since I had have reason and memory and don't wish that hell on anyone and these kids are weak. 70 years ago 18 year olds were volunteering for war, now all they can do is pet kitties to make themselves feel better. Add to that the fact that everywhere they look they are told something is wrong with them. If they are rich, they are wrong, if they are poor they are wrong, pretty-wrong, gay-wrong, white-omg privilege kill yourself wrong, christian doubly kill yourself wrong, you get my drift. WEAK!

Should we just shoot all the people who cried over the election, that don't have the initials HRC?
