That sucks!

I am so done with winter. In this house we have been sick so many times since Christmas. Last night out of desperation to get some sleep I took Mucinex, this morning I have a terrible nosebleed, I am afraid my brain is going to fall out, never again! I mean it works, but the bleeding is bad.
Hope you all stay safe, and warm! All the good storms come when I have moved out of the area :/

Going to New York City Thursday thru Saturday, hope I don't get into nasty weather. My kids are Marching in the St. Paddy's parade.

To all the people that don't get snow and want some:. It gets real old, real quick.

we finished with no power for more than 24 hours, (but our gas fireplace kept the house warm) and someh=thing like 12-16 inches depending on drifts

You seem to lose power a lot. Is that an issue of an old house? Old lines? Old power station?

I know some areas of the US have very dated infrastructure, that is privately owned, so never upgraded

yeah it's hit or miss. We've lived here for three+ years, and before last week only lost power for a total of 1/2 hour

Happens occasionally outside cities here as well, usually because of snow-laden trees/branches falling over power lines.

Or as we like to call it in the northern states, winter weather that lasts well into April, sometimes May.
