Hi!

I have a file in a work folder 1, and I want that same file to be synced to work folder 2... How can I do this?
ie, if I make changes to the file_name.xlsx in folder 1, then can it be synced exactly to file_name.xlsx in folder 2? or file_name2.xlsx in folder 2?

Would be great! Cause I'm using dropbox, and instead of sharing a whole folder, I just need to update the other person with what changes I've made to the file... providing a link to the file only generates a download link, don't want that.. need it to sync the file as a copy.

I tried searching for this online, but couldn't get any results.. Symbolic Links, Synctoy, etc etc... nothing seemed correct. Synctoy syncs 2 FOLDERS, and symbolic links didn't seem to work, ie, I created a link with this software: http://code.google.com/p/symlinker/ but when I tried updating my file, no changes were made to the linked file. (i hard-linked, but still no updated file)

Any help would be great!

-Mohit.

Use dropbox. It will do exactly what you want. Just create an account that you will share with person B.
